To give students a sense that they are on a journey as they learn Hilton's computerized registration system, a travel motif was applied to the overall creative design. In keeping with the theme, travel-oriented lesson titles and 1940's-style explorers were designed for each instructional segment. |

In addition to uniquely reflecting the content to come, the bright colors and cartoon-like graphics serve to make the learning adventure more entertaining and enjoyable. The primary interface is a Roadmap that enables students to choose lessons according to their levels of advancement. |
| Lessons consist of brief informational segments, followed by multimedia demos, and conclude with hands-on examples of guest registration. As this tutorial screen explains, a set of universal icons allow students to move forward and back through the course, and access content-sensitive help. |
